IVORY SATIN WEDDING DRESS with TRAIN • A beautiful classic 1950s designer wedding gown in heavy ivory satin • Cape neckline with ivory lace • Half sleeves • Bateau waistline that tapers down in back • Tucks begin at back waistline and trail down into a simple, gorgeous, train; wrist strap on the underside • Fully lined in ivory cotton • Inner hang straps and shoulder-strap stays • Hidden Talon USA zipper and six hook-and-eyes in back • Train has four hook-and-eyes on the underside to shorten train • Weighted hem ERA: 1950s COLOR: ivory MATERIAL: unlabeled heavy satin LINING: ivory cotton fully lined LABEL: Cahill, Beverly Hills ORIGIN: Made in USA SIZE: unlabeled, best fits a S, please see measurements MEASUREMENTS LENGTH: 56" (front) LENGTH: 86" (back) BUST: 34" WAIST: 26" HIPS: full CONDITION: Dress has been altered to fit a smaller size. Bodice has a 2.5" allowance in the back zipper area (bust and waist). Original metal zipper has been replaced with an acrylic one when this professional alteration took place. There are ever-so-slight underarm rings but this is the only sign of use, and the dress is in very good to excellent condition. Train and skirt do not appear to have any issues at all other than a slight rusting of the metal hooks on the underside that are not bleeding onto lining fabric. Dress has been stored in original keepsake box which I can send along with dress if you wish.
